Welcome to information on the first revison of ISO 31000 undertaken from 2013 to 2018 !

The  committe responsible for the revison of ISO 31000 was ISO/TC 262 Risk Management which develops international standards in the field of risk management to support organizations in all their activities to manage and minimize the effects of accidents, disasters and faults in technical systems as well as response and recovery from major disruptive risks.

Here you can find everything about this committee and its work from September 20th, 2016 when this Website went online until February 15th, 2018 when ISO 31000:2018 was published. First Chairman of the committee was Kevin W. Knight (until Dec. 31st, 2016) who was succeded by Jason Brown on February 9th, 2017. Since March 2018 ISO/TC 262 TG 02 operates a new website under the guidance of ISO CS.

Participation

 

On February 15th, 2018 ISO/TC 262 had 55 Participating Countries and 18 Observing Counties as well as numerous liaisons. BSI in the United Kingdom was responsible for the secretariat on that date. If you have any questions you can contact the secretary!
