ISO 31000 was circulated as FDIS (Final Draft International Standard) for voting by the NSBS in October. An outstanding majority of more than 90 % approved the FDIS and the new version of the standard is planned for publication in early 2018.
This series of reports on the changes against ISO 31000:2009 has been continued. The new article will provide the reader with an update into the thinking behind changes in Clause 4 of the standard where the key principles which guide the purpose of risk management is described.
